    About MAUD

    MAUD is an international architecture practice founded in London with strong roots in Taiwan. We specialize in architecture, interior design, and visual storytelling, delivering impactful and design-driven projects. Our Johor Bahru office is expanding, and we are seeking a motivated Business Development Executive to support the growth of our multi-brand team. 

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist in identifying and developing new business opportunities with developers, architects, hotel owners, and related clients. 

    • Support the BD Manager in client meetings, presentations, proposal preparation, and contract follow-ups. 

    • Maintain and update client databases, track project progress, and support relationship management. 

    • Collaborate with internal architecture, interior, and CGI teams to prepare presentations and marketing materials. 

    • Help implement strategies to achieve sales targets. 

    Requirements

    • 2–5 years’ experience in business development, sales, or within architecture/design-related industries. 

    • Familiarity with architecture or interior design workflows is a plus. 

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 

    • Proficient in English and Mandarin to serve Mandarin-speaking customers.

    • Motivated, organized, and able to work independently or in a team. 

    Bonus Qualifications

    • Existing network or exposure to property developers, contractors, or architecture/design clients. 

    • Understanding of real estate market and client needs in Malaysia. 

    • Multilingual skills (Malay, English, Chinese) are an advantage.

    MAUD is an international architecture firm founded in London with strong roots in Taiwan. We specialize in architecture, interior design, and visual storytelling, delivering meaningful and high-impact projects. Our Johor Bahru office, located at Public Bank Tower, is expanding, and we are looking for a proactive Administrative Officer to support office operations and team coordination. 

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform HR and administrative duties, including onboarding and offboarding. 

    • Manage staff payroll operations, including salary calculations, payslips issuance, management of attendance and related records.

    • Handle accounting and bookkeeping, including daily entries, invoices, month-end closing and basic financial reporting.

    • Coordinate with external accounting consultants by preparing documents for tax filing and financial matters.

    • Manage daily office operations and maintain a professional, organized workspace. 

    • Handle document administration, including filing, archiving, and correspondence. 

    • Provide logistical support and refreshments for the office meetings with visitors and guests. 

    • Maintain inventory of office supplies and equipment. 

    • Prepare internal reports and manage data organization. 

    • Liaise with external vendors and stakeholders to ensure smooth office operations. 

    Requirements

    • Minimum 1 year of administrative or office support experience. 

    • Accounting and bookkeeping experience is mandatory. 

    • Strong organizational and time-management skills. 

    • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently. 

    • Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with our Taiwan office.

    Job Description

    MAUD is an architecture firm founded in London with strong roots in Taiwan. We focus on blending urban planning, architectural aesthetics, and visual storytelling to create impactful designs. As our team expands to Malaysia, with our office based at Public Bank Tower in the heart of Johor Bahru, we’re looking for two passionate architectural designers to join us in turning creative visions into built reality.

    What you'll be doing

    • Architectural design: Our design approach is mainly driven by 3D modelling, using high-quality modelling as the foundation for every project.

    • Drawing production: Translate architectural designs into drawings, from concept development to design development.

    • Attention to detail and quality enhancement: Highly sensitive to spatial details and drawing accuracy, dedicated to high presentation quality.

    • Team collaboration: Work closely with the design manager and team on task coordination, demonstrating good communication and teamwork.

    • Adaptability and problem-solving: Proactively analyze design challenges with proactive and creative solutions.

    • Self-discipline and responsibility: Able to work independently with strong motivation and willingness to learn.


    What we're looking for

    • Bachelor's in Architecture or a related field.

    • 1-3 years of experience in Architecture or a related field.

    • Familiar with architectural design processes and highly attentive to drawing details.

    • Convey design ideas clearly through drawings and storytelling, balancing functionality and creativity.

    • Eager to learn new technologies and proficient in using various design tools.

    • Ability to think independently and work collaboratively within a team, with strong communication skills.

    • Passionate and committed to creating high-quality and impactful architectural design.

    • Proficiency in using design software, such as Rhino, AutoCAD, or 3ds Max, additional experience with other 3D tools is a bonus.

    • Proficient in working in a multilingual environment to effectively communicate with our diverse client base and stakeholders (Mandarin and English preferred).
