PORT OF KAOHSIUNG PASSENGER TRANSPORTATION DISTRICT PORT AND CRUISE SERVICE CENTER


高雄港作為工業港口已有悠久歷史,在過去十年間一直屬於高管制、非對外開放的區域。隨著近年港區逐步轉型,越來越多的臨海空間正被規劃為公共用途,包含多項港區開發提案正在進行或籌備中。港埠旅運中心的目標,即是在城市與海岸線之間建立完全的視覺與使用上的透明性,解除過往的剛性邊界,讓海岸真正回歸城市生活的一部分。

我們的設計提案,強調港埠與郵輪旅運中心應作為一個整合性的平台,讓公眾能參與、互動,打破傳統郵輪碼頭僅服務登船旅客的封閉印象。這座建築不只是過境節點,更是一條持續連結城市的過渡空間,能同時承載日常活動與國際觀光人流,讓本地市民與外來旅客皆能共享這座港市交界的新場域。

Kaohsiung port has long history of industrial port not open to the public within the last 10 years, it always had been a highly controlled zone. Many port waterfront proposal is now building or under proposal as recently the port is slowly transfer its use at the same time more and more waterfront to be turned for publicity. The aim for the Port and Cruise Service Centre is provide a complete transparency from city to the waterfront, in order to de-freeze the solid boundary, returning the waterfront to the city.

Our proposal for the port and cruise service centre is complete with integration, involvement, interaction of the public scene, with typical cruise terminal, which are not usually familiar with local who does not take the cruise. the building it not only a transition point like a gateway, but provide a continuous transition to the city and hosting daily city events for both international tourists and Kaohsiung city locals.
