The first language of detail is craft.
It appears in the way a brick is laid, the texture of a roof tile, or traditional artisanal techniques. These treatments may seem minute, but they demand the patience and precision of skilled craftspeople — allowing a space to reveal its quality without visible seams.

What makes detail move us is also about proportion.
The riser height of a step, the division of a window frame — these apparently rational numbers directly affect our bodily experience. When proportions are right, we feel comfortable in the space; that comfort is often subconscious.
細節之所以能打動人，還在於比例的拿捏。
一級台階的高度、一扇窗的分格比例，這些看似理性的數字，卻直接影響我們的身體感受。當比例恰到好處時，我們會在空間中感到舒適與，而這份舒適往往是不自覺的。

When all details are carefully composed, natural light and shadow become the final protagonist.
Light changes with time, giving the architecture different faces. Even the smallest adjustment of an angle can turn harsh direct light into a soft diffuse glow. It is these refinements that make a space vivid and soulful.

In an age that prizes efficiency, perhaps we need to reassess the value of detail. Because it is precisely those details that determine whether a building can transcend function and become an architecture we remember.
