Why do some spaces make you want to stay just by looking at them?
Discover the silent but moving “ambience” of a space.
We often hear two seemingly similar, but actually different terms: atmosphere and immersion.
Both are about the feelings and experiences that a space brings, but they touch on very different sensory levels and depths of engagement.

Swiss architect Peter Zumthor said in his book “Atmospheres” that the most moving thing about a space is not its external form, but the emotional field that makes people “feel surrounded by something intangible”, which is called “the atmosphere of the building”.
Atmosphere is an overall perception, an internal quality that can be immediately recognized when stepping into a space, while immersion is the depth of experience that comes from actively participating in and integrating into the space.

Sense of ambience may not be the main character in design, but it is the first impression and the last memory people have of a space.
It may be due to the change of light, the choice of color, the warmth conveyed by the material, the reverberation of sound in the space, and even the humidity and subtle smell in the air, all of which have quietly affected your emotions and feelings before you even realize it.
Vipp Shelter,
It's not about dramatic emotional ups and downs, it's more like the environment emits a gentle and persistent aura that silently influences our emotions. You'll remember the quietness, the comfort, or the refined quality that the space conveys, even if it's hard to say exactly why.
We often say that a space has to have a soul, but sometimes the soul is not constructed by ornate decorations or complicated functions, but is hidden in the details.
What the designers do is not only to grasp the shape and scale, but also to use light, material, sound, white space and other elements to let the space speak, so that each visitor can feel a certain kind of emotional belonging to be understood, to be carried gently, and to be put at ease.
